Electrical Engineer - Utility Scale Solar Generation Projects

West Coast

Will review engineering designs associated with Solar Power Plant projects, including in-house designs and those being developed by outside Engineering firms. Additionally, will coordinate with the contracted Construction Company to ensure resolution of field issues. Will initially be responsible for a project at the electrical engineering discipline level with progression toward Project Management.

Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited USA university required, PE preferred. At least five years electrical engineering experience related to power plant, refinery, or pulp and paper projects. Focus on Power, not I&C.

Project Environmental Manager

For New Electric Transmission Infrastructure Projects in the USA

Manages environmental regulatory compliance during pre-construction, construction, testing and turnover of new high voltage substations and transmission lines.   Develops and implements programs, manages external consultants, audits sub-contractors, engages with the community, coordinates with government agencies, tracks and reports on project compliance.  A member of a regional project management team for a long-term capital project. 

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as environmental science, civil engineering, chemistry, biology etc. Must have a minimum of five years environmental compliance experience involving significant construction projects. Prefer energy sector experience involving construction of electric generating plants and transmission systems or cross country pipeline projects.  Should have experience in the full range of Fed and State environmental regulations applicable to related infrastructure projects. Environmental certifications a plus.

Project Manager (Senior Lead) – High Voltage Electric Transmission Projects, New Construction 

Upper Midwest Location, Option to Relocate or Work Per Diem with Paid Trips Home

Multiple project leadership position responsible for budget & schedule performance, quality, regulatory compliance and system turnover for new HV Electric Transmission projects ……. overhead lines and substations.  These are large capital projects with durations of 3 to 6 years. Extensive contact with owner’s representative required. Responsible for a regional profit center.

An engineering or construction related degree is required.  Must have a minimum of ten years experience in power sector senior-level project management preferably involving HV electric transmission construction projects.  Prefer EPC, A&E or GC Senior Project Management experience but will consider project owner experience. Must have high-level leadership and business management experience. MBA a plus.

Quality Assurance Manager – HV Transmission Projects

New High Voltage Overhead Lines and Substations

Responsible for field construction QA / QC activities for new Electric Transmission projects involving high voltage overhead lines and substations.  Responsible for the full range of quality management functions. Will be the QA Lead for all work at a regional project office. High compensation and job security. Option for either a payroll assignment with relocation subsidy or payroll with per diem and paid trips home. Long-term employment with a benefits package.

Must have a minimum of five years experience in electric transmission or generation construction QA / QC management. Experience should include a broad range of Construction QA / QC involving greenfield sites. Previous Lineman experience a plus. Must be knowledgeable in Primavera, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Chemical Systems Design Engineer - Utility Scale Solar Generation Projects

West Coast

Will review engineering designs associated with Power Plant projects, both in-house designs and those being developed by outside Engineering Companies. Additionally, will coordinate with the contracted Construction Company to ensure appropriate resolution of field issues. The Chemical Systems Design Engineer will initially be responsible for a project at the chemical engineering discipline level with progression toward Project Management.

Chemical Engineering or Chemistry degree from an accredited USA university required, PE preferred. At least five years chemical systems engineering experience related to power plant, refinery, or pulp and paper projects. Water treatment and steam production are key areas of interest.
